Snday @ Asbury Chapel

Sunday @ Asbury Chapel

Have you or do you know of someone who has faced a serious setback and gave up on God?  I do and I imagine you know someone. In 1966 the band Journey released a sone titled “Don’t Stop Believen.” It was their number one song ever put out.

That is the theme thought for Sunday. We will share how to get out of the “Don’t Stop Believe” attitude and find a relationship once again with Jesus.

Looking for a church, maybe disgruntled with yours, maybe God is moving you but you haven’t made the move yet. Let invite you to join us at 2704 South Highway W in Foley, MO. 63347 at 9:30 AM. This Sunday we celebrate communion which is open to everyone.

We also stream our service live on Facebook. Yow are welcome to get some bread and juice and join from home for communion. You can find more abut us at asburychapel.org on our Facebook page.

Following is our message notes for tomorrow:

Message Notes

“Don’t Stop Believen”

Hebrews 10 32 – 36 (CSB)

March 9, 2026

The question – – Do you continue to believe or do stop believen?

10:22  – “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.”

10:23 – “Let us hold fast”

10:24 – “Let us consider one another”

Jame wrote – “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.

10:32 – 34 – 32 “Remember the earlier days when, after you had been enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings. 33 Sometimes you were publicly exposed to taunts and afflictions, and at other times you were companions of those who were treated that way. 34 For you sympathized with the prisoners and accepted with joy the confiscation of your possessions, because you know that you yourselves have a better and enduring possession.”

10:35 – 36 – “So don’t throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you need endurance, so that after you have done God’s will, you may receive what was promised.”

The longer the obedience takes, the longer it takes or the promise to be fulfilled.
