Sunday @ Asbury Chapel
This Sunday we want to invite you join us for worship at 9:30 Am. We are located at 2704 South Highway W in Foley, MO. Sunday’s message centers around 1 Thessalonians 1:1 – 5. “This Is Amazing Grace” is our title for the message.
Asbury Chapel is an independent Protestant church founded over one hundred and seventy years ago. We were formerly a part of a denomination but have since departed.
You can find our website at asburychapel.org we also offer a daily Bible study that we post on both our Facebook page and our website. This Sunday following our morning worship we will conduct our annual meeting in our Family Life Center next to the church. Everyone is invited all we ask is to bring some food, anything you like we like.

“This Is Amazing Grace”
1 Thessalonians 1:1 – 5 (NKJV)

Grace and peace” Paul packs a great amount of theology into those three words.
1. “Grace” is God’s love, active in redeeming an undeserved humanity.
2. “Peace” describes the condition of wholeness that comes from being reconciled to God.
Grace happens at unexpected moments in our life. Are we prepared for those moments?
Two of the greatest examples of grace.
1. Samaritan woman
2. Prodigal son
Grace often comes unexpectedly as it did with the Samaritan women and the prodigal son.
