Sunday @ Asbuury Chapel

Sunday @ Asbury Chapel

We have been blessed with the Christmas season and we end 2025 this week and look to 2026 with anticipation. What will it bring, what can we look forward to, what am I to expect of myself?
This Sunday we look at Psalm 23 written by David following   a low time in his life. “You Cannot Pour From An Empty Cup” is our message title for the 28th.

If you attended Christmas Eve service somewhere but you do not attend a church on a regular basis we invite you to join us at Asbury Chapel this Sunday. Come visit our service which begins at 9:30 AM. We will have coffee ready at 8:30 and invite you to join us for a cup.

We are located AAT 2704 South Highway W in Foley at the corners of highways W and Y. You can also find more about us at asburychapel.org. We fond something wrong with out “bible Study” tab that we checking into.

Our message notes for Sunday are following.

‘You Cannot Pour From An Empty Cup”

Psalm 23

December 28, 2025

David wrote in Psalm 22:1

1.           God met the spiritual needs of David.

Are we, as a church, willing to do the uncomfortable?

2.         God met his directional needs.

God should be our GPS through his spirit.

3.         God also met the emotional needs of his servant David.

Even when I go through the “darkest valley’ we can go assured.

4.         God met the physical needs of David.

That is why David could say “his cup overflows.” the source never runs dry.

5.           God met his eternal needs.

               Through submission
