Sunday @ Asbury Chapel
I have been doing something different than in the past. We are taking an in depth look at the book of Colossians written by the Apostle Paul to the church in Colossae.
This week we are looking at Colossian 1:8 – 12 at a message titled “Where Are You Walking?” If we are walking with God we should bearing some type of fruit. Spiritual fruit is the by-product of a righteous life.
Join us at Asbury Chapel if you do not have a church home or are new to the area. We are located at 2704 South Highway W in Foley at the corner of Highways W and Y. Our service is contemporary and begins @ 9:30 AM, dress is casual, and coffee is ready at 8:30.
You can learn more about Asbury Chapel on our website at https://asburychapel.org.

August 24, 2025
Prayer is answered because of our faith and the goodness of God.
Spiritual fruit is the by-product of a righteous life.
Evidences of spiritual growth
1. Deeper love for the scriptures (PS. 119:97)
2. More perfect obedience (1 John 2:3-5)
3. A strong doctrinal foundation (1 John 2:12 -14)
4. Greater love for others (Phil. 1:9)
The scriptures identify bearing fruit as:
1. Leading people to Christ (1 Cor. 16:15)
2. Praising God (Heb. 13:15)
3. Giving money (Rom. 15:26-28)
4. Living a Godly life (Heb. 12:11)
5. Displaying holy attitudes (GaL.5:22 -23)
