Sunday @ Asbury Chapel

Sunday @ Asbury Chapel

There are “Twp Ways To Live” on this planet called earth. Ww have a choice as to which life we will live. From Matthew 5:1-10 are a portion of the Beatitudes of Jesus that He spoke to the crowd that day. We are continuing in our look at “The Red Letter Words” from scripture that were spoken by Jesus.

This Sunday we will be celebrating communion. We would love to have you join us in the celebration of what this sacrament means to the believer today. If you cannot attend you can still participate by having some bread and juice available to share as we share in person.

Looking for a church, what is church all about, is it important that I attend church and if I do should it be regularly? These are all questions we are posed with and must be answered one way or the other. If you are searching for a church home look at our website at asburychapel.org for some insight into what we believe. If you cannot attend but like to follow us on Facebook you can at : facebook.com/asburychapel.org.

Our address is 2704 South Highway W in Foley, MO. 63347.

Just exactly what is meant by that term “blessed?” It means “made holy” or “consecrated.”

  • So then what is “consecrated?” It means  having been made or declared sacred: “
  • So then what is “declared holy” mean?
  • To be set apart by God for Himself and for His own purposes.
  • Specially recognized as or declared sacred by religious use or authority.
  •  To be blessed by God and declared holy, as in the case of the seventh day of creation.
  • To have no trace of evil in one’s character, as in the case of God.
