John 3:20 -21 (NASB)

“For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”

I remember visiting Mark Twain Cave when I lived n Hannibal it was dark when the lights go off. The same is true of any cave you visit when you get inside the lights go off and darkness is surrounding you. You began to try to your footing and dare not move it is an eerie feeling.

The same thing is true for the sin in our lives. Christ Followers desires are to follow as straight a line as we can but “We” get in the way. Sometimes things come along and we look at something, do something that is out of the path we are on. What happens when that occurs, we fall out of fellowship with our Creator.

How do we turn the lights back on? We do what we did when He first forgave us we ask for forgiveness and when we do we are restored back to the fullness of God and His care and protection. He is always looking for a way to show His path back into fullness of life.

“It is no advantage to be near the light if our eyes are closed.” Augustine.

God Bless.
