Sunday at Asbury Chapel

Sunday @ Asbury Chapel

We are beginning our look at Acts chapter two this Sunday as we explore the beginning of the early Christian church as described by Luke in his writing.

This week we see where the promised Holy Spirit descended on those “in one accord” while awaiting the promise of His coming. Once this happened the church was born, the believers had power, and the church was born. What a fantastic way for birth to begin.

This Snday we will share in communion. Communion is a celebration of Jesus sharing His final earthly meal with His disciples the night before His execution. We hope you can join us for this special time, everyone is welcome to share we have no restrictions. If you are unable to join we invite you to join us at home; get some bread and juice and celebrate with us.

Join us at 9:30 at Asbury Chapel located at the corner of Highway W and Y in Foley, MO. Our service time is 9:30, coffee is on at 8:30, donuts are available. We would like to have you join us.

I came to Asbury in June 2020 right after COVID and enjoy being in this great church. We have several things going on that can be seen on our website @ asburyumcfoley.org. We invite you to attend our service at 2704 South Highway W in Foley, MO. I am confident you will be blessed.
