Bible Study July 23, 2024Matthew 28:20“I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”I know there are times when I wondered where God is, if He
even knows where I am and what is troubling me. Today I wrote up around three this
morning with other people on my mind and I wondered if He knew about their
problems and what they are facing. The Apostles John was a true follower of Jesus who was exiled
to the isle of Patmos by the Roman Emperor Titus Flavius Domitianus. I am certain
the emperor had no idea that God would visit John on this remote island and
give him the Book of Revelation. T god knew where John was.Al through history we see where God has walked along side of
those who follow Him. As Matthew says He never leaves us we leave Him. We get
consumed with all that is going on around us and end up forgetting what and Who
is important.God uses these difficult times to show us amazing things. Our
focus must remain on Him or we will miss what He has for us. We will have those
feelings of being exiled but He never far away as he was never far away from
John, God remains with us.“If we are shut in by life’s troubles, we can look to the open
heaven above us.” James M. Campbell.God Bless.
