Sunday @ Asbury
This Sunday we are continuing our pursuit of looking at the Book of Acts written by Luke as he shares the establishment of the church. We began last week in chapter one and will continue there this week. “Acts is All About the Church Ordained by God”
We are picking up from where we left off last week in our message on the acts of the Holy Spirit in this book.
A quick recap of last week:
- The Book of Acts speaks more about the Holy Spirit than does any other book of the Bible with some seventy references to the Spirit.
- When we lose sight of the Holy Spirit then Satan steps in.
- If we do not see Him work we are not looking for Him.
- Go reach others.
- The church today needs an immersion in the Holy Spirit.
If you can join us I know you will be welcomed. Dress is casual, coffee in the sanctuary is welcomed, an offering can be left in the baskets as you enter or leave worship. You are not required to give to worship. We just want you to worship.
Our service begins at 9:00 AM at 2704 South Highway W in Foley, MO. That is at the corners of Highway W & Y. Service begins at 9:30, coffee is brewing at 8:30. If you cannot join us check us on Facebook at asburychapel.org.
I have added the notes from our PowerPoint for you if viewing at home.

So, my question today are you a called out one?
There is no power in the church but there is power in the Holy Spirit.
There are two reasons churches grow:
1. Some churches grow because the message is one that requires no sound teaching.
2. The church where the power of the Holy Spirit is moving.
The question – Which one for you?
What do people in the second church do?
What do people in the second church do?
Matthew 13:1-9
He didn’t tell them not to sow seed, but he told them the results from sowing.
