This Sunday at Asbury Chapel we conclude our series on Spiritual Warfare – The Uncovered Back.” Much of our study has come from Ephesians 6 where Paul writes about putting on the armor of God in order to fight against the devil whose desire is to destroy us.
I chose this title because in all the weapons Paul mentions there is nothing to cover your back. Simply put “we are to stand firm and fight knowing the battle has been won by Jesus He had no intention of us turning and running.
This week we look at the two final weapons the Sword of the Spirit (the scriptures) and Prayer. We must put on the armor it will jump on us we must be intentional if we are win the battle. When we put it on then we should plan to keep it on.
Coffee and donuts are ready at 8:15 if you want to join us for some fellowship before the morning service at 9:00 AM. We are located at 2704 South Highway W in Foley (at the corner of W & Y). We would love to have you join us.
