Matthew 6:30 – 35 (ESV)

“But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Are you a worrier? There is no reason to worry from what Jesus told us in Matthew above. I once heard a minister say if you need love, give love. My next statement is not about the prosperity gospel but if the previous statement is accurate can you receive by giving. I am not saying “give to get” there is a vast difference.

The God Read Me file is found in Matthew 6:33. “seek you first the kingdom of God.” That is the key to everything seek first, ask first, then knock. He is waiting to reassure us all is just fine in our world but stay in faith.

If you put God and His kingdom first in your life everything else that is needed will be there for you. Life will then be added to you but we must begin with God as our source.

If you want to avoid worry, stress, unhappiness all those things that take our peace then seek God first.

“Worry is an indication that we think God cannot take care of us.” Oswald Chambers.

God Bless.
