Ephesians 5:21-25
21 “Submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. 22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. 25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.”
If a wife is to submit to her husband the husband must love his wife and be willing to die for her. Look at it this way Chrsit died for the church He expects the same for the husband.
Similarly, if a husband is expected to give up his life for his wife she must be devoted to him there are mutual responsibilities they share, The fit together so their differences complement each other.
Cindy and I are different as any two people. We have different likes; dislikes and we do not agree on everything but we make it work. God brings people together for His purpose we must never forget that point. He has a purpose in all He does.
However, without equal love and respect for each other it will not work.
