Asbury Daycare Update
As you know, we were forced to close our Day Care on August 24, 2023 for a maintenance issue. That issue included moisture in the building and we have now discovered some mold in the basement area.
We have had Servicemaster in to look at the issue and they referred us to a mold hygenist who did an air sample Tuesday we are awaitinig the results which she said we would have on Tuesday of next week. She did advise the air quality upstairs was good.
We made the decision to suspend our daycare operations until we can resolve this issue which we will do. We are working with Servicemaster who will provide addiitonal information to us once they receive the results from Tuesday’s testing.
We anticipate this situation will be remedied and all mold abated soon. We will continue to monitor for mold and other contaminants once that is completed and will re-open once we are certain we can provide a safe environment. Our goal is safety for your children and our staff.
We will provide an update as soon as we get the results of the testing from Tuesday. We will provide updates at least twice weekly but more often if we find addiitonal inofrmation. We apologize for the situation but as soon as we discovered we took steps to correct it.
